Do the math. Take 5 of the most popular medications and price them at Costco.com. Add the typical fee of $445 and find that there is about $1,000 per/yr savings under the Medicare Plan D. The rest of the story is that Medicare is paying the typical plan administrator $1600 per year for each enrollee. Do the math, taxpayers.
